I found out about this service from a Japanese friend who lives in Nagano. During my stay in Nagano, I was able to communicate without any problem. I recommend this service because of its low price. This service is not related to this eSIM service, When I paid by credit card, I had to set up SMS authentication, so one card could not be used in Japan. It would be better to change to email authentication before coming to Japan.

The eSIM was easy to set up. I purchased a 50GB eSIM, but since the Wi-Fi at the Airbnb in Hokkaido was slow, I used the eSIM as a hotspot. However, I ran out of data and had to purchase an additional eSIM. It would be great if there were a larger data plan available or an option to add extra data.

During my 15-day stay in Japan, I used 47 GB of data communication. The WIFI at the hotel where I stayed was slow, so I used my iPhone as a hotspot for my laptop. It was nice to be able to use tethering.

Once the APN was properly set up, communication was possible without any problems. I wish I didn't have to set the APN in Japan, even though I was able to communicate in my country without setting the APN.

This was my first time traveling to Japan and also my first time using an eSIM. I used the eSIM on my iPhone 14, and it connected easily. I had also rented a mobile WiFi device, but I mostly used the hotel WiFi. There was one time I forgot the mobile WiFi at the hotel and couldn't use it outside, but I was able to use my laptop by tethering with the eSIM, and the eSIM alone was enough. While traveling on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka, I felt that the speed slowed down a bit, but it might have been temporary. I'll definitely buy an eSIM again the next time I come to Japan.
